Divided into 12 sections, the 3,500-acre community of Lake Monticello is home to 4,635 lots and approximately 12,000 residents. Thanks to its proximity to the lake by the same name as well as the numerous other amenities the community has to offer, Lake Monticello is a popular choice for those who want to live near to Charlottesville without having to actually live in the city.
